in Techie Stuff
can anyone please tell me why my PC will not open certain files? e.g. xml and zipped files, i keep getting a msg saying Windows cannot open this file, any ideas, thanx in advance
they think they are dolls.......but they are really TROLLS:eek: (x3)

Make sure that those files types have a program assigned to them.
From Windows Explorer, press Tools --> Folder Options.
Click on the 'File Types' tab.
See if XML is in the list, and make sure that it is associated with a program capable of reading it (Internet Explorer, Notepad, etc..)
If it is not in the list, click New, and follow the instructions to add a new file type.Organisation and planning are for those who can't handle stress and caffine :rolleyes:
