email help please

Hi, I have a friend connects to the internet via tiscali broadband, she is using outlook express and has three email addresses with them, for example, husbandsname@tiscali, hername@tiscali, herhobby@tiscali, now she can send mail to me from any of the three address just by changing the from details when she is composing a mail. But we cant seem to get mail to send to her via the herhobby@tiscali address, the ones to hername and husbandsname get through fine. When I had a quick look in her settings in outlook it seems there is three different accounts set up in the mail section, one for each address and all the details seem to be the same on them so I am stuck as to what is causing the problem. If I try to send her an email it comes back to me saying address unnown, permanent error. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me, thanks Lou

Is the hobby@tiscali address exactly as written the same when she puts it in the from field and when it is used as the username for the outlook express login?

Get her to send an e-mail to you from her hobby account and reply to it.

Also does her hobby email definitely exist with Tiscali? Have other people been able to send to it? Anyone can put whatever they want in the from field and doesn't mean that email address necessarily exists to reply to.

Hi superscaper, thanks for your response, yes the username is exactly the same but I see what you are saying about it being registered and to be honest I am not exactly sure, she seems to think it is a valid email address but I am not sure when she set it up and how so I will have to ask her. If it isn't set up do you know a way to do it, is it as simple as registering with tiscali and adding it to her outlook express accounts, thanks Lou

you can have about 5 email addresses with Tiscali, she'd need to sign into her account on the tiscali website and go to manage her account. In there you can add or delete email addresses.
