Blackberry Playbook and Android Apps

I have just purchased a blackberry playbook for my son, the main app he wants on it is Fifa 12, which is not available via blackberry.

I have it on my galaxy s2 phone, is there a way to transfer it over.

I have been reading up but have got a bit confused!! do I need to root the playbook to play android games, or there is also something about changing the games to bar files?

It will have been a complete waste of money if I cant put fifa 12 on it!

I don't know tbh, I can try if there is no other option.

Only games made with Java will work on the playbook (and some of these may not work), Fifa isn't one of them and will never work (and no playbook version is in the pipeline to be made). Was gutted when football manager didn't work too! A lot of 3d games are made with unity and these won't ever work on the playbook either.

If he wanted it mainly for gaming, then as above go for an android tablet. If budget can't push to a nexus, then find one which has bluetooth for a control pad.

It doesn't, but you can run about half of android apps on it via sideloading.
