Turned my back for 5 minutes ( needed a wee) and my daughter has very kindly hoovered for me - She hoovered the entire contents of the litter tray, thankfully no pooh but my hoover stinks of cat wee. How can I get rid of the smell - Its disgusting?
Thankfully the cat was not in the litter tray at the time

wash the bin and filters, and perhaps the hose too?0

A Dyson is not a Hoover, it's a vacuum cleaner.
As above, one or both filters are hand washable (depending on the model). The one probably affected is the pre-motor filter. Then the bin, and if necessary the cyclone can also be dismantled and washed. However if you do this, you must ensure that all the moisture has dried before you run it again. If not, a single drop of water through the motor will destroy it.
If it still smells, change the filter. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Dyson is dismantled and everything washable is washed and drying. Hopefully this will work. Thank you for all your suggestions0
