I'm 99% sure that capital one also do the same thing - correct me if i'm wrong!
Unfortunately not. I had a cap one classic card a few years ago. Opened in 2004, increased in 2005, next increase was 2009. And it was managed immaculately. The second increase actually came quite a while after I'd stopped using the card.0 -
Going by the experiences of other posters on this site regarding credit limit increases from Capital One, you may be looking at 2-3 years for your next increase.
You may be one of the the unlucky one as so many Cap 1 credit building card customers are, and never get any more increases.
Just use it to build up your credit rating (which it was intended for) for a year to 18 months and then look to get a better deal card with better APR and higher limit.
Vanquis are more generous with their credit limit reviews then Capital One but tend to increase thier APR to reflect increases in the cards limits.0 -
With capital one I had an increase after six months and another ten months after that.0
