Messenger problem - please help!!!

Hi techies
I use Windows XP and have separate accounts on the PC for myself and my daughter. She uses Windows Live Messenger daily and I use it, but less frequently. We both set the preference not to automatically log on when we sign into windows and obviously have different accounts with msn/hotmail.
The problem is that when I am signed into my XP account and even when neither of us is logged on to WLM, I am getting messages meant for her on my screen. She says because of the window they are in she thinks they are the "old" messenger (maybe the msn messenger?) that we used prior to WLM.
I looked in add/remove programs and removed what I thought was the old software but they are still coming through.
Please help!!

It could be the messenger that came with windows. you need to open it up, go to tools, options then deselect the option for "load at windows startup."

Many Thanks Millionare- just found the other windows messenger under the start, programs menu and sure enough on my daughter's XP account it was set to load up when windows starts. Fingers crossed this will be the end of the problem!0
