Hoping someone might have some suggestions. A 21 yr old living in shared accomodation in Cardiff on JSA at present and receiving HB and CB (applied for early Sept) received a letter 17/9/12 for amount of £66.75 and after receiving a bank statement, the HB have sent another letter for the amount of £207.68.

It only says you have been awarded and then the above amounts. It doesn't give the time period that these payments cover. There's no income other than JSA no savings etc.
Does anyone know what these payments are made up of. How often HB is paid etc. We're probably going to go the Office and ask but thought it might save us a journey if anyone else knows. Thanks

shared room rate in Cardiff is currently £55.38 per week. (unless their rent is less than that in which case it will be actual rent amount that is paid. I believe HB is paid 4-weekly in arrears
  • Yep thanks managed to find some info.;)
