Options
Hi,
I am about to start a new project.

1.How do i go about getting a Ltd?
2.What are the pros and cons of this against a sole trader?

3. I would like a logo designed, where is the best place? any place?

4. I have programing experience, thats not a problem, but my design is rubbish.
How do i go about having a site designed?
5.do i just use a template?
6.where can i get good templates?
7. is it professional to use a look that everyone else has...

8. I also need a couple of e-mail templates that match the same theme, any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

    Hi Joe,

Businesslink.co.uk is a really useful site which i've been looking at in the last few days. They have loads of info on starting up and design etc - they might be worth a look.

For design etc I would look local as you will probably get a much better deal. I'm near peterborough and have found some good companies if anyone needs any info on them please pm me.

businesslink are great but there is so much info on the site you can get lost! :)
Have a chat with an accountant about what company structure will be best for you - if you are advised to go lts you can do this online from companies such as quickformations - it is much cheaper but you must be sue it's right for you.

As for logo design - get a graphic design student to do it from your local college/university - it will help their portfolio and you should get a good deal :)
