SWB deposits - anyone?

Hi there,
Not sure that this is the right place for this query but I could not see wherelse this might fit.
Basically, just checked my account and noticed that a suspicious transaction of £5 has gone out with the name of 'SWB deposits'. I spoke to my bank who could not give me more details other than it's a direct debit which has not been set up correctly - so they will not be paying it. They also gave me a telephone number to call, but the number goes 'dead' after few rings.
I've tried googling 'SWB deposits' but no joy so far. Is this a scam or some sort????

I googled it and it came up with loads of pages about Scottish Widows Bank.
Do you have any association with them at all ?0 -
No, I've got nothing to do with Scottish Widows Bank.
The telephone number for me to contact SWB Deposits was given as 0800 988 9977 but as I said, it does 'dead' after few rings. I've also tried googling this number but it does not seem to bring up who it may belong to.0 -
Really?I've also tried googling this number but it does not seem to bring up who it may belong to.
A google search for "0800 988 9977" (exactly as written, including the quotes) reveals it belongs to a company called Confero...

And they're answering the phone as well.

Thank you - that's really strange. Confero??? I tried again and I did actually get through this time and they did say that they had nothing to do with SWB Deposits and possibly I've been given a wrong number by my bank.
Oh well, will get in touch with the bank again.0 -
