Hi,
Where can I get cheap (simple B&W) Business cards. Live near Gatwick/Crawley.
Don't want to use vista print as I think they are con merchants.
They are for my taxi-driver DH, so nothing coloured or double sided needed.
Thank you
Kim

What makes you think vistaprint are con merchants?
I would have thought they would have been ideal in this situation?0 -
Have you not heard about the membership scam.
They sign you up to a discount scheme for £10 a month, like it or not, loads of people have been caught with it. I paid for it without realising, but managed to get it refunded.
What a printing company is doing running a leisure discount scam I don't know0 -
Have you looked in your local shopping mall? sometimes they have machines where you can design them, I think its 20 cards for £2.
We use vistaprint for a lot of cards and brochures and if you dont sign up to anything or buy any additional offers they are quite reasonable.
Good Luck

Print Empire https://www.printempire.co.uk are pretty cheap (and cracking quality). 250 business cards for £20 (look under Digital Printing).
Yes, it's full colour but full colour print is amazingly cheap nowadays, some of these full colour deals are cheaper than your average 1/2 colour print now.0 -
can you not do your own?

mind i did already have a printer, laminater and pouches tho all you really need is a printer.
if you haven't got 1 why not try joinnin your local freecycle as some1 somewhere might be gettin rid of 1.
you can pm me if you want as i'm willing to help design the card for you so all you would have to do is print it off and cut to size.1st son born 11/02/05 2nd son born 09/01/08

I have a printer but I thought with the cost of ink, the card ECT it wouldn't be worth doing it. I think the cartridges for mine are quite expensive............
Often when I print things they come out a little wet & I smudge them:o , so I didn't want to start messing about & wasting bink & paper either.
Thank you :A for the offer though, but I'm not that good at that side of things:o & would rather buy some cheap "ready done" ones:D0 -

Have you tried Microsoft Publisher? Just use non glossy card and you should be fine - cost is the price of your card, it's what I do!'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'
