When Lily had her first set, she came home, curled up on the chair and slept for 8 hours solid (not typical for her) - didn't move so much as a whisker! When she did get up she was groggy.

I wasn't too worried as the Vet said she might be a bit sleepy.

Every year after that she has been fine.

My Merlin used to react badly to the booster jabs, so for a few years I used to split them and have two different ones about 6 months apart. I used to have to contact the vets in advance to make sure they had the single vaccines. For the last 4-5 years of his life, we didn't bother with having them done (he passed away from cancer in his leg at the age of 20 earlier this year).

It's interesting to see the leukaemia one is now every 3 years, I seem to recall years ago that there wasn't a lot of research into the long-term effectiveness of the jabs, therefore we were told to have them annually because the vets didn't really know how long the protection lasted. It would seem some better research has been done now.

    Hi Snuggles
So glad that Masie seems much better this morning. It's amazing the difference in them overnight.
Definitely sounds like different vets use different products so we will also ask more about them next time as we just assume there's only one jab available and that's what our two have.
Main thing is, she's back to normal and enjoying all the fuss.
    Best wishes
