Ahhh I could scream
I sold an item today, item ends and i get a message from the winning bidder (has less than 10 feedback) asking if I can sell for the winning bid and not charge postage and they dont care how its sent.
I reply no, explain what they need to pay
get a reply asking if its as listed, explain yes it is
Get another message asking me to combine postage and only charge them £1 for postage (The item weighs over a kilo and sold for over £30!) I explain what combine postage means and that he doesnt get it because he only bought the one item
receive a reply that every other seller does this.
Then get two more messages asking if its new, again yes it is
Another message saying they didnt want to bid what they put in, the start price was £24.99 it had one bid, he claimed he entered £25, i explained this wasnt possible and as he had put in £30 and hte other bidder had put in £29 odd he would have to pay the £30 plus postage.
He then pays, I let him know I will send tuesday (listing states 2 days) and I get a reply demanding I post tomorrow, i cant im at work all day and dont work near a post office, I explained this to him.
Im going to send at special delivery at my own cost and keep all his messages incase i have any problems. But im just so annoyed,
sorry for the vent

I may have blocked him when the silly offers started.
When asked to combine postage, I would say no problem when you have bought all the items you want i will weigh them and let you know the final cost.
I would be tempted to just refund. They sound like they will be a nightmare.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

He's paid, he could still leave negative feedback and trash the sellers stars. Ebay won't remove his feedback because he can prove he paid by quoting the paypal transaction reference number.0 -
he asked all these questions after he had won the item, he didnt answer a question before hand so i couldnt block him.0

He could also do this once he has received his goods, but by this time he could also decide to open a SNAD in an attempt to get a partial refund.
sunnysea, have you had a look at the feedback left by your buyer for other items they have purchased?
For me, this would now be the determining factor as to whether I completed the sale or not as if it looked like I was going to be negged whatever I did, I would prefer to take the neg before sending the goods.0 -
i think you should name and shame so we can all block himWWSD(what would Scooby Doo)0
