Returning beer to supermarket

I massively overestiametd what beer and spirit was needed for a wedding and as a result I have 20+ cases of lager. I am not going to be able to use all of it even though Christmas is coming up. Will supermarkets take any of it back if a) I bought it 2 weeks ago and b) I still have the receipts.

I should of come back sooner with my results, sorry. To close this thread, I was successful at Tesco, Asda & Morrisons on returning ALL my beer, spirits and mixers. Thanks to all for your answers.
