buisness insurance

i recently started a part time job in a take away delivering fast food i was stopped by police who advised me that i require buisness insurance as well as my normal insurance can anyone help me on this matter.Thanks

You can add Business insurance to your existing insurance. It usually £10 extra only. But you must say it for minor usage. Once you have business insurance you are covered.0

Its not "business insurance" you want. You need to add "business use" as an option to your current car insurance.0

Was this a friendly word or are they prosecuting you?
If your insurance wont cover you then you will need to cancel the policy and get insurance elsewhere or get a different job where you dont use your vehicle.
