Do any British Gas customers remember them running an offer probably about 8/9 months ago on a dual fuel tariff where they would credit you £100 approx if you stayed with them until about September this year i think it was.
I know i went for the offer and now can find no details about it whatsoever. Was hoping someone did

I have just called them regarding the same thing, the advisor said he did remember the offer, but there are no notes on the account and the credit should be coming soon, all I could get out of them
CC limits £26000
Long term CC debt £0
Total low rate loan debt £3000
Almost debt free feeling, priceless.
Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.0 -
I was told I'd get £50 in or around September but I haven't seen it yet

Right, mystery solved. I called again today and someone knew exactly what I was on about, it was offered by the "online team" usually as a sweetener to stay after the end of a websaver tariff (in my case websaver11) and will be applied after 6 months, so they have assured me £50 will be applied to my electricity account on 30th Nov, if it doesn't appear, to call them and they will manually apply it. Most advisors cannot see the credit as it is applied via the online team and via a different system to the one the call centre staff use....so I was told. They have given me a freephone direct number to call the online team on and fully noted my account.
