Water Leak 'near' boiler

Hi, I'm new to the forum! I have a house rented by tenants. The house is a new build (Bloor Homes) and is about 6 months old. The tenants contacted me last night and informed me that the airing cupboard carpet was wet. Although I have yet to investigate where the leak is (boiler or pipes), I suspect that it is from a faulty pipe join. My question is: is the fault covered by a Bloor warranty or do I need to cover the costs of fixing the leak myself? I intend visiting the house this evening to gain a better understanding of the exact leak location. Grateful for any advice!

I'd suggest you go there quicker than that, as that could damage a lot more than just the carpet.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll

Only you will know the wording of the warranty. My xtal ball is borked I'm afraid. My question is: is the fault covered by a Bloor warranty or do I need to cover the costs of fixing the leak myself?
As Jojo already suggested - sooner rather than later might just be a good plan.I intend visiting the house this evening to gain a better understanding of the exact leak location.

If it is within the first 2 years of you buying the house, then everything supplied with the house is covered by the builders warranty.0

You suspect it is a faulty pipe join, why would you even think that unless you know of a fault previously. Sounds more like it could be a leak from the boiler itself, but either way they need a plumber to investigate before a small leek becomes more and causes damage not only to the carpet but the floor & ceiling below.Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0 -
