Vanquis - how quickly does online balance update

Does anyone know if the balance when you log into your Vanquis account online updates almost straight away after a transaction/purchase?
I went for dinner with a friend last night and went to put half the bill on my card and it was declined :embarasse as far as I'm concerned I had £1000 available to spend on the card and that's also what it shows online this morning when I log in. My worry last night was that perhaps my card details have been compromised and some fraudulent transactions has gone through. I tried calling them last night to check, but their customer service hours are a bit rubbish and they are now closed until Monday morning. It maybe there was just a fault with the card or the reader (had it before although not sure if with this particular card) but would feel reassured if I knew the online balance updates within hours at the latest.

When you log into the website, what does the available balance say?DEBTFREE AND PROUD!!0

They will show any authorised transactions deducted from your avaidable balance so you should be able to tell.

Thanks guys, I had checked online, but I wasn't sure if it was updated within hours or days. This morning it was showing a balance of exactly what is should have been, but was worried that some big fraudulent transactions may have been taken yesterday (which would have explained the declined card) but was not being reflected by the online balance. However, I think all is fine. Just popped out for a coffee and used my card and it worked fine and I've just logged in again and its already deducted what I just spent from my availabe balance .. seems as if the posh hotel we had dinner in last night was just being snobby towards my cheap Vanquis card :rotfl:They will show any authorised transactions deducted from your avaidable balance so you should be able to tell.

It is debited immediately which immediately reduces the amount available to spend and the actual transaction is shown in eVanquis in 2 - 3 days.0
