Had an awful spendy few days there but trying to get back ontrack.. Me and my OH are thinking about moving to england.. Unsureof how this would plan out to be honest.. We've got tiny savings and nada jobs but apparantly most of the big firms like you to have already made the move etc.. before they will consider you for a job.. hmmmmm much much to think about..094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Hey everyone!
Well I have had 2 NSD since I last updated.. Decided to do the piggybanking method of banking for a while to see if me and my OH can get any money saved, as you can see in my signature, it's not going too well at the moment trying to save...
So here's the plan. Weekly we take in €476
The weekly plan is to put all our household money together in a "pot". Pot shall consist of €170 which we can include :
€80 petrol (shocking figure but thats what the OH needs for me and him to get to work
€20 towards Electricity
€17.50 towards heating
€6.25 sky bill
€6.25 phone insurance
€5 internet bill
€9 phone bill
€19.50 for car insurance.
Motor tax is paid up front for the year, and household groceries shall come out of a seperate pot!
Doing the grocery challenge atm and its hard now, around 70 left for the second half of the month! Yikes!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

So pot done for the week... €230 put into our "other" pot for all extras... €10 put on cc as of tomorrow morning when I can get to the bank, LOL!
Keeping spending on food to a minimum this week and next in prep for my mums wedding. Determined to get the money I'm owed from work before my mums wedding. I really need to pay it back into the cc as it's currently what is on it.... Blah!!!
I'd love to have another €1000 saved before 31-12-12 as I want to start the new year on a very high note. If I got €1500 it would be AMAZING!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Gosh I have neglected my diary! Sorry peeps!

All is fantastic in casa de bubbly. Xmas pressies are all on their way curtesy of the interwebs meaning no long queues and car parking charges!
I've a little something to buy for one of my ladies and another thing to get for my brother and thats it!
MSE has taken a back road since my mum got married but i'm ready to begin to be an angel again and get these savings on the road! :A
I've signed up for the sealed pot challenge and tonight, I'm planning on making a draft excluder for our sitting room door.
On a bad note, OH is out of work  but as it cost us so much for him to travel etc.. we are only down €50 a week! :rotfl:
I've had lots of job interviews lately so I am praying on my job coming through for me.. Thats all for now folks!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Hey everyone.. feel like I'm chatting to myself here sometimes!
Just chilling out at work today. Nothing is going on today so I plan to spend my day by being frugal and staying on the computer at work so I don't have to do it when I get home.
Swagbucks is banned at school so no chance of getting some extra pennies.
Got to go and cancel my insurance on my phone today, I keep forgetting to do it but I will today! It's the one extra dd that comes out my current account that I need to put a lid on. Going to keep my OH's phone insured though as if one of us lose our phones, we can claim of it.
Need to get onto sky about our dd details. I phoned last month with our details but they still haven't taken the money out. I've cancelled our internet as well but I would need to give it the shout just to make sure.094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Had a spendy day yesterday after school, I did the 12 pubs of christmas, first time ever! It was deadly fun
Sometimes, YOLO!
Got paid double this week but I'm thinking of just trying to place it all in my cc to get rid of the outstanding balance and to increase our savings pot!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Super happy! I got the job I went for! :j
Its minimum wage for the first while as there is a probation period but then it increases and the overtime looks amazing as well!
Starting after xmas so at least I can enjoy my xmas period knowing what will be coming up afterwards!
Today I need to go buy coal and logs, don't need much in terms of food for the house.. Trying to cut down on discrsionary spending so that I can save them pennies!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250
