Hey guys!
Pull up a seat and grab a drink
I'm tatabubbly.. Live with my doting boyfriend, we've been together for 5 years next January, our doggie Rusty, and currently looking after mammy's two dogs.. Living in the island of doom and gloom at the minute, Ireland..
So I'm not in any financial debt since last month, managed to get littlew**ds paid off and my credit card is in the clear! I live in my stepdads house which we don't pay rent on for the last 6 months as both me and my OH are both in internships at the moment.
I currently have €1200 in savings in the bank, and I'm looking to increase my income to increase these savings. We have a dream of heading off to canada next year, and I'm trying to be sensible but it's so hard sometimes!!
I live beside northern ireland so getting all them bargains is still in reach! I basically need a kick up the backside to save them pennies to get them pounds!!
Hope some of you join me on this journey, I can't tell you how it will end but I'd love it to be in a 5 star hotel with a bucket full of champers!! :rotfl:

So, in very OS fashion, I took the piggy bank out and counted the coppers €17.50 I have including €10 I have in my purse. I probably could make this stretch for the week. I usually for lunch make my own soups to take into school with me, I take a yogurt and fruit into work as well.
There's a fair bit of food in the house at the moment that I'm trying to get rid off as we are moving house next week in with the MIL
My stepdads house is quite old so it's hard to keep heated so moving in with the MIL will be beneficial for both us and her as it will cost less for the 3 of us to live together..
I've been doing swagbucks to get some amazon money together so I can treat myself in the january sales!
Got 285 so far, need to get more surveys online! Used to do Vitatic as well but I didn't find it great to be honest! 094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Having a very MSE day today! :j
Got my lunch into work with me today and I did my budget out for this weekend, it's my mums hen party so I may not be quite as good at the weekend with all the treats as I'm organising it! Also, got a lift to work instead of the bus so every little helps!
Today on swagbucks, I got 304SB.. Only a little bit more pushing till my first £5 from amazon! :T
Decided that this diary should be a clean out of my other woos as well. My weight has got me down lately but I hope to fat bust it all away.. Plan on doing free activites in order to be MSE..
Gots to do some shopping tonight, but need to see what coffiers are in the purse! I've put all my change away in a sealed jar meaning I'm going to wait till next June before I open them!
Will post up a SOA later, it's great to use the interwebs at work lol094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Okay, so my overspend is miniscual however I have a feeling that this budgeting is probably out by miles and I'm missing stuff. My savings are crap, I have to start a piggybanking system!

Putting the bubbles back in at the moment is quite difficult, shifting this weight is hard work! I'm doing Zumba classes in school cos they are free
Saves me forking out every week!
In terms of swagbucks, I had a great day yesterday, 514SB at the moment! Only little while to go to get my first £5 amazon card, hoping to get one by the end of this week!
MSE wise, I've taken my lunch into school today and might have a NSD or a very little spend day as I may splash out and buy a scone from school! €1 not bad, however if I planned it right I could buy ones in the shop, it'd work out cheaper! LOL
I'm becoming such a tight !!!!. I've €149 in my bank account, mum's hen party is this weekend and I'm due €238 on thursday morning..
I plan to have a budget of ~€200 , however it's a one off expense so I can't dig it.. I'm going to pay my €38 internet for this week today leaving me with €111 left from this week!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

So I've been doing some serious thinking over my finances, if I'm going to head to Canada anytime soon, I need to start cutting out some of these extras that I have going on.. Tonight I am going to
- check out sky cancellation. Me and OH rarely get time anymore to watch TV so it's really €25 that I can't afford to be taken from my bank every month.
- cancelling €38 vodafone bill. Realistically, because we're moving they may give us a deal for leaving. I don't want any bad marks on my credit rating at the moment.
- Cancelling my insurance on my phone which will save us €10 each month as my OH's phone is insured as well..
That should give us a saving every month of €73!
I'm quite pleased with that.
So, I went to the shop as we had no loo roll or milk left
and ended up spending €7.65. Any change has gone into my mystery box tin of pennies which I will be keeping sealed until right before we decide to head away!
Also, I'm going to try and skim our entertainment budget!
If anyone wants to leave a comment, please do, I'm not shy
Swagbucks going fab today, 636SB total so far.. Think I'm going to save up for a £25 voucher. It'll come in dead handy for my kindle and food purchases (I LOVE free food!)094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Ah so moneysaving went out the window today.. Spent €39 in Primarni but that's for the hen do and another €5 in tesco for additional bits for dinner and such.. Also had to put €20 into my phone, grrrrr...
On the plus side, I might get some of the €39 back at the weekend, cos I bought stuff for everyone. It a one off expense but I'm hoping to claw back some of the costs and still have money left in my account next weekend so I can still be in the all clear with my cc..
Moving house next week into MIL house so that should be fun!
Swagbucking has stopped at a silly 654SB.. Only 234 to go until my first amazon voucher so I'm going to try and put a dent into it tonight!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Wish me luck for this weekend, going to belfast for my mums hen. Ironically, I cannot for the life of me find my credit card at the moment. I remember having it in school.. however I'm pretty sure that it was at home it must be now.. I need it to pay for my hotel cos it costs less than what it does to pay for it on my visa card cos it's in sterling.. BLAHHH!!!!
On a better note, I have my budget done (I hope) for the weekend. Work owe me €120 so I'm hoping to get that back next week and put it away for savings.
On a MSE note, my bank are changing the structure of their charges. €0.28 per transaction, in or out of the account! :O That is scandalous if you ask me. I've cancelled my internet standing debit and my phone dd as well, I can pay them off in the post office as it's free there!
Cancelling my sky package now after this weekend.. I've looked up the number and everything..
It's hard to be MSE sometimes but it's all for a good cause! I'll be happy to go through this weekend without making a major debt in my cc.094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Hey everyone! Back after a long weekend.. Ended up over budget and used €100 on my cc  So annoyed at myself because I was trying to be good..
I have €12.31 in my bank account now till thursday and I have to go check how much I spent on my card tomoro!
On the plus side, half day at work on wednesday so I'll get to the bank in good time to pay the minimum on my cc and hopefully replace whatever money I've spent this weekend....
I'm moving house this week, so that was part of my spending on my card at the weekend as I spent £39 in ikea.. I love that place :rotfl:
Onwards and upwards, tomorrow shall be a NSD, my first of many to come until my mums wedding on the 1st of december!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250
