Clearly. I am a carer for a cancer patient and it is a quiet weekend.

Well at least that's likely not a long term career limitation. Sounds more like a quiet week from the list of what you did above...

It's amazing how many people are on this board when they aren't getting the responses they thought they would ;)

I'm guessing you would have arranged your friends in the police fraud squad to arrange a trip to Hong Kong for you to reclaim your $1.98, if you do go, look out for any DVDs, they can be lethal in the wrong hands.

    Very good point

Actually, what I reported in here happened in the course of more than a month. I just got the time to post the story yesterday.

I also wonder if you can see the cyrillic characters because it's your own account...........

..........I think that either ebay should standardise the use of Latin alphabet

The first part, I have no idea on, although I have the same listed in English next to it. It's not actually my home address, even though it used to be. It's just an address that's used for our Moscow office (I own the property, someone who works for me lives in it).

The problem with the second part is being able to read for the Russian postman. The street name is long, with several letters you wouldn't expect, and in English (I don't know how much you can understand of it), only Korolov, the fact it's near Moscow and the fact it's actually in Russia would only be visible due to the postal code.

We lived in several properties around that area, and they all had the same 6 digit number, similar to the American scheme.

This is it; it was a few quid. Never let a buyer trick you into waiting more than 45 days.

Re the foreign characters thing; I've just logged into my personal one and got the following for my personal address:

    Кристофер Николаевич Халваши
    Квартира 4
    2/6 Улица (removed)
    Королев
    Московская обл
    141062 РОССИЯ

If you have removed - How can you live there - Is this then a FRAUDulent address?

On a serious note I have been removed from the frying pan a number of times by Messrs eBay & PayPal for which I am very thankfull.

    Cheers & God bless,

Feedback can be left until 60 days - so if you claim you could not open a case or leave feedback - then you clearly allowed yourself to be fobbed off for 2 months.

Did the seller say they were sending it via courier pigeon? You sat on your hands too long - and paid the price - albeit a very small one.

The limit is 45 days and it isnt hidden.

Unfortunately there will always be people who do not see the time limits or read about how to be protected.

What if the limit was 100 days? Well in truth he would sucker you to 101.

This is how the unscrupulous operate. They know the system and they know the buyer doesnt.

This is your own fault and is such a paltry amount you need to drop it and move on. It is one of the most ridiculously long posts trying to shirk blame that I have ever seen. It is your fault. Yours.

This thread is 8 months old. I would imagine the OP stopped reading any replies while ago.
