on some of the sites i go to the page is loading up very slow

Might help if you could be more specific!
So your browser is running slowly on some sites? Is this a new problem or a gradual one?
Has anything changed recently - Have you installed any new software for instance?
There will be a reason why it's happening, but just like going to the doctor, you need to tell us where it hurts when we prod it?!

What computer?
Wired or wireless?
What type/speed internet connection?
What sites?
Is anything else slow, e.g. file downloading, email?604!0
