Pleased to report that the garage has just delivered my wife's car - all fixed and no charge. :j :j As we're now a one car family, we'd have been lost without it.

cheers for starting the thread catt, had an early at work, did contemplate being five mins late and starting the thread at 5am but I was so asleep I couldn't find the on button on the pc :rotfl:


today has been a nsd, in fact I'm £1 up as I found a squid in a locker at work! Going to the yoga class this evening but am planning on leaving my purse at home.

Hi All, haven't posted on here for a while but really need to keep spending in check again :rolleyes: ; have spent £6.98 on groceries n cleaning stuff today + £2.60 on 2 gro-bags to transplant the veggie seedlings ( though hopefully the savings on home-grown salad should cover this ).

Ah well, you all really must be a good influence on me, even managed to go out for some fresh air and walk past the shops when I would usually have popped in for something I didn't really need (crisps, chocolate, bottle of wine, etc)... mind you on the chocolate front I did have a bit of Easter Chocolate Buttons Chick left over...

My resistance failed at lunchtime, bought a packet of Chocolate Rich Tea biscuits.

Still, on the plus side I did get a £2 coin which I can use for the Puppy Fund

spent £15.90 on a check-up at the dentist (fortunately nothing wrong) £15.50 on petrol and £6.21 on beer, toothbrushes and a new tin opener as somehow I lost mine so a horrifically expensive day really, fingers crossed for no more of those for a while! (furniture buying trip on Thursday excluded)

NSD for me! I even made some money! DH found a 20 euro note tucked away somewhere (I've no idea where though!) and so I cashed that in for £12.59! MIL had also given me some potential presents for my neice which she didn't need, so I swapped the items so there were cat pictures on them (my neice is totally cat mad!), so that's saved me money in June as I won't need to buy her a present!

Am very much hoping for lunchtime no spends all week, although DH and I are off to the supermarket tomorrow evening - our first trip since February!!

Its a no spend day for me!!

counted all my savings pots up and i have

£26.25 in my 1p,2p,5p,10p and 20p pot
£9.50 in my 50p savings piggy bank
£20.00 in my £2 in my £2 saving piggy ( but this is a rough guess
as its one of those sealed jobbys you can only open with a can
opener!

am very pleased with my savings as only been saving since 1st march xxxxxx
