Hi,
I'm hoping some one can point me in the right direction please..
We have an website ( with 1and1) for our holiday caravan, we have a booking form on there but people either have to print it off and send us in the post or copy and paste to something like word.
What I would like is for them to be able to fill it in there and then on our website and for it to be emailed to me automatically. Is this possible..The website we have is basic and I have managed to do this myself but dont really have much knowledge in this. I cant put HTML on it.
Also would like our contact form to come straight to my email address if people have queries and so on..
Fingers crossed this is possible with a little ( or a lot) of help from your guys
Thanks in advance

The old tried and tested means of 'formmail is by using a cgi-script.

But it does require some tweaking and folder permissions also need to be changed.
There are also online websites where you can create your form online and cut and paste it the code into your contact page. The problem with this solution is that because the details pass through a 3rd party, you may leave your prospective client open to spam.
See this little bit too..

You can also work around the problem with wufoo, google forms etc., create the form and embed it in your page. Also means no faffing about with cgi-bin etc!0

Have a look at 1&1 Basic CGI Feedback Form Builder. Then if you are using the 1&1 WebsiteBuilder to build your website, you only need to click on Extras and select the Feedback Form element from the list to include it on the webpage.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0

OWAIN MONEYSAVER: I have managed to use the feedback form as a contact form, it did say you can ask multiple questions but I could not see a way of putting my own questions in, ( ie making a booking form rather than just getting their contact details)..not sure if I have done something wrong, I followed all the steps, thank you very much for the link it was easy to follow..
Off now to look at the other suggestions0 -

Embedding isn't hard - whichever site you use will give you instructions. Wufoo might be an easy one for this :-)0 -

I have managed to get a booking form on our website using 1and's tools, it lets customers fill in their booking form online and gives you a thank you notice at the end but I have no idea where their info is going? Its not going to any of my email address's or the one provided with 1nad1, I checked an old email addy not in use and its not there either...HELP LOL I have spent all afternoon doing this..0 -

At some point during the creation of the form there should have been a field to enter the target email address. Failing that, I'd guess it should send to the email address registered against your 1and1 account. How do I add a signature?0 -
With the contact form there was a place to put an email address on and it works, I did not see one on the formbuilder I think it was called, I updated the registered email address but when I filled the form in and press submit, it just doesn't seem to have gone anywhere, I will have a go at ringing them tomorrow if i cant figure it out in the meantime..
Thanks for the suggestions so far.0
