I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their advice and support with the ESA problem. I was on my computer at 6 a.m this morning researching. There is a vast amount of information out there to view!! There are some true horror stories too! My god some people are treated like cannon fodder and all in the pretence of weeding out so called work-shy scroungers. Many people with genuine health issues are being harassed and made to feel guilty for claiming benefits they are entitled to. The appeal process is not easy for the faint hearted, vulnerable and poorly educated. Wonder why that is?? I found many examples of people in the same situation as my wife. People that have worked full time since leaving school, got married, had children, raised them to have a good work ethic, payed tax and N.I. are then, through no fault of their own, need the benefit they are legally entitled to they are treated like criminals!! Yes the country is in a financial mess but why target the vulnerable? Answer - Don't want to get political but, i'ts political!! ( Why do politicians always answer a question with a question? Could they fill in a Yes or No questionnaire?)
It has been a true eye-opener for me, but it has made me more determined to make sure my wife is treated fairly.
Once again, thank you for all the help and support. Will keep posting as things progress. Finally i have always liked this phrase and will be using this while dealing with my wifes appeal.

This blog based link lists the ESA descriptors and I found using them extremely helpful. That other site has to be paid for to gain access to it.
The support group ones are the 2nd lot, have a read of those and see what ones could apply to your Wife, then use that to fill out the GL24 appeal form as soon as possible. Sending in any evidence afterwards. You need to get the appeal in as soon as you can.0
