We currently pay £105 p/m for gas & electric with E-on. I called them up to ask if I was locked in. I'm not, but they said I can change to a 2 year fixed for £114 p/m and get £40 tesco clubcard points.
We are a family of 5 with a small 4 bed house.
Rather than have all the paperwork when changing suppliers I'm tempted to take them up on the offer, but if I'm paying too much compared to others then I will move,
Thanks in advance

Best bet is to go to http://www.topcashback.co.uk/earncashback.aspx?mpurl=energy_helpline and put in your numbers there.
From what you've said it looks doubtful that their offer is a good deal at all, but depends on your usage and what tariff of e-on's that you're currently on.Interested in property investment, web tech, social media, forex, equities. Also a proud father & entrepreneur of sorts.0 -
How can I tell my usage? I pay 105.00 p/m but as Im in credit I'm not sure what it actually is. I find the whole Kw stuff really confusing. When I used the topcashback link above it says that the only way I can save is by having a 1 yr fixed, but to have a 2 yr fixed will cost more?0

If you can't see your expected annual consumption in kWh on your bill, call your supplier and ask them

There is no paperwork whatsoever to switch. 5 minutes on a comp site, then 20 minutes via a cashback site. Your kWh figures are on your annual statement. No free lunch, and no free laptop

£105 per month in a four bed house, how average can you get?
