Just recieved our bill and instead of the normal your next payment is £73 it says the next payment will be £1035 previous statement said £937 and the one before said £76 and the one beofre said £331 so used to the ammount owed moving up and down they have never adjusted the DD.
Also our revised monthly payment has gone up by nearly £100 per month to £166 from £73 as well
Anything we can do ?? been with them since Jan 2011

You could try contacting them :cool:0 -
I moan at them every time they say they are going to put the DD up and they relent and leave it alone. I am expecting it all to happen again very shortly. I shall leave them as soon as my contract is up but for now this is the way to go.0

I'm confused by your post. The numbers vary much more than the usual Edf recalculated upwards scenario.
Clues to what is happening will largely be on each statement.
For meaningful help you need to post more billing information, reads, account balance, previous 12 months consumption, projected consumption and projected cost. All of which appear on your statement.
You also need to be aware of your 'annual review' date. Think that is also on the statement.0 -
LOL at EDF's system! I'm afraid it's all you can do!
Moved from Saver 2 to Blue Promise at start of this month and find my bank account hit for a dd of £158.
I phoned them up and asked why my dd had gone from £64 pm to £158.
The girl said she would look into and phone me back. I told her what i wanted was usage figures for the last year and to work out what this was on my old tariff and what it was changing to. I let them do the work.
The very helpful girl then phoned me back 10 mins later and told me last years dd was something like £75-£80 and going forward it would be £83!!
I then asked her why have EDF have hit me for £158??? She said it was a glitch with the system and apologised.
I should state that i was about £50 in arrears (just over £4) and their system has just taken extemities (i.e.in arrears and coming into winter) and gone crazy.0 -

Do you know the date of your next 'annual review'?0
