Late weekend post for me, so it's more about what I have done
hello to all the newbies and the ol' regulars. Lovely to see the weekend thread so busy for a change:D this weekend I have:
Gone to very close friend wedding, was in home town so drove and stayed at home rather than hotel. Bought present 3 months ago and card in sale when a card shop was closing down earlier this year. Did spend some on drinks for other half, but, I drank tap water all day. Was a lovely day
Need to take cardigan back that I bought to go with dress, but, it was warm enough without it
Fed various groups of friends over the weekend, but, all but a pizza was homemade (although got on from a shop rather than order out). Planned for it though so had food in
3 loads of washing, dry inside on airer
Tidy round so house looks presentable for week ahead
Meal plan for next week, based on what we have - including now lots of meals with cheese as they had a cake made of cheese and gave us loads of lovely cheese to bring home
Washing away
Check banking
Posted books to amaz0n traders and CDs to music magp1e
Returned an item I was sent in error and posted 1 eBay parcel
Keep eye on 4 things selling in a couple of days
Think that's all - enjoy what's left of your weekend everyone :j0 -
Hey guys~! Sounds like everyone's been really productive.
I'm going to try and post to these threads more often. I'm definitely needing more motivation at the moment!
Today:
- Has been a NSD day. I got some shopping for lunches, but my house mate owed me, so he bought everything! (including today's tea!) =D Bargain.
- Did a load of washing, stuck it on the drier.
- Had friends over and we watched Dexter! (We're re-watching it with them, they haven't seen it yet.)
- Listed 27 things on ebay!
- Checked banking and updated spreadsheet (counted out some coins to! I have two full bags, but I generally wait until I have five.)
I'm also trying to decide whether to cash out on MySurvey. I have enough for £3 with paypal.0 -
Hi everyone - late posting! Been a very busy and lovely weekend
Small things I have done:
* been to my allotment twice, was very lucky to get a load of beetroot (I am talking several kilos!), a massive courgette, 2 small cucumbers, some parsley
* a very friendly fellow allotmenter gave me some advice about what certain plants are and some broad beans, shallots and dwarf beans seed :T
* made beetroot soup for dinner with my friend last night, and a beetroot cake (beetroot and the allotment featured heavily in my weekend!)
* returned something to B&Q and got a refund
* my lovely friend who visited last night gave me some very useful advice re doing up our house
* had a skype session with my lovely love last night - he is currently in Texas until Wednesday - miss him a lot!
* emailed someone off of freecyle re some free manure
* checked banking - its not good! Don't get paid until 25th  Although don't need anything and have the allotment to keep me out of trouble :money:
* made packed lunch for tomozza
* worked out GC for the month so far - its only 1 week in and I'm halfway through the budget. That said I definitely think I could do a fiscal fast for the next week....
* watched The Golden Compass and loved it!
* went for coffee with my best friend yesterday and she treated me - naughty but lovely laydee!
Ok think that's everything. Hope you all had a lovely weekend.
