iPhone budgeting applications!

Hey,

I have just got a new full time job and I want an application on my iPhone that lets me set budgets for different things, eg food, trains, savings. Then I want to be able to input how much I have spent on each things so I can see how Much money I have left to spend per month. I also want to be able to put in how much money is in my purse, credit card and savings account. When I input the Money I have spent on my groups of stuff I want to be able to select we're I spent it from, eg purse or card.

Does this exist?! Ha. Can anyone make this?!

If not, how can I manage this?!

It's not solely iPhone, you need the desktop version alongside it. But what you need is YNAB. https://www.ynab.com

Have a look and try the free trial, look at the forums which are great if you need advice.

It's not free but I think it's money well spent. PM me and I have a referral link for $6 off.
  • It's all in US dollars and it's about £35!
Rather expencive I'd say for an app!
    Any alternatives?

    I use budgets..

It has an ipone version, iPad version and a desktop.. Although I only use the iPhone version.

You can sync between them and export your budgets and spending from your phone to your email and into a spreadsheet

    It works for me ..
  • Thank you Dumbe! That's perfect! :)
  • MoneyDance is another great app for iPhone/iPad and has a desktop version too. It syncs either via Wifi or you can use Dropbox aswell - it's great. I put in a transaction on my phone, I get home and there it is on my desktop version.

Have a look at MoneyWiz - Personal Finance in the App Store. I am looking for one too and I'm thinking about purchasing this one.

It looks good and has 184 ratings which make it a 4.5 out of 5 (5 out of 5 for the latest release from 19 ratings).

    It costs £2.99.

I'm looking for something that will seamlessly sync between my iPad, iPhone and Macbook, so Moneywiz is a contender. I'm struggling with the thought of paying £17+ for it but it will be used A LOT, judging by how much I currently use the EXCELLENT iPhone App 'Account Tracker' (by Graham Haley) at the moment.

YNAB is also highly recommended. But £34+ ??!!

There is something called Simplibudget on both the Mac + iPhone App Stores, VERY cheap but only one review. Compared to £17 and £34 for the other two, it might be worth trying even if it doesn't work out.
