Wot you lot got against AOL? I've been with them for years.

Warning, Wannadoo and Tiscali may be a bit cheaper but be careful how much you download, generally only 1gb per month, then they charge you more!! Also Wannadoo only allow you 150 hours per month online!

No, I'll stay with AOL thanks, none of these problems. I am on broadband, I have kids online with their own PC's wirelessly, me in Dining room, all on at the same time, no connection problems, very fast on all three PC's, unlimited access time, unlimited downloads. Free helpline. Also have AOL Credit card with points that let you get free month or more if you save the points. ;D

  • what've we got against AOHell? for a start it's pony. My mum uses AOL dial up and it's the cackest pile of cack ever.
Suppose the conenction isn't too bad but that poncy interface is too annoying for words. I have to run IE alongside it cos you can't close it down without disconnecting.

You don't have max downloads on all packages, just the ones you pay for max downloads.
  • I am with Tiscali for near 18 months now, reliable service.
Started paying 26.99, that dropped to 24.99 a few months ago, recently I phoned to ask to disconnect so I could go to talktalk, and they offered me 19.99, so try it on !

  • another nod for Tiscali is that i'm moving shortly and wanted to give my notice on it so i could choose another when i moved. They offered to 'move' me for free rather than paying the £50 fee if i stayed with them as i'd been with them over 12 months
