i have had a slight disagreement with sainsburys about some trees over hanging into my garden, apperenlty they "told my husband yesterday" it was being sorted. i told them that my husband had been sitting quietly on the kitchen windowsill in his urn for the past 7 years!
i trod on the cat , the stupid fella was asleep on the stairs.
a bird pooped on my car,
and its trying to rain when i have washing out on the line.
see you folks later.
 at Sainsburys. How awful! I do hope you will be letting them know how much they have upset you.
Can totally identify with the bird poo.....no shortage if seagulls here!
HUGS and hope your day gets better x0 -
It's weird reading about all the wombling. I live in what is supposed to be a "prosperous" area (though with the prices round here they are doing the best to reverse that  but I get very few wombles, next to nothing from T's and A's and I have never wombled a BM at S! It's not just the fact that the places seem to be very efficient at cleaning up, people just do not seem to be willing to part with the things!!!What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

not me - am off shopping shortly and expect to see you have new shiny thread up + running on return0 -
It's just a temporary trial run in NI:
1The Northern Ireland delivery of Tesco Price Promise at the checkout or automatically via an email for Tesco.com shops will finish on 31st January, 2013. At this point Tesco Stores Ltd. will review the on-going delivery mechanism for the Tesco Price Promise in Northern Ireland.
From bottom of T&Cs.
I expect you'll go back to waiting 24hours+ like the rest of us then. Good news for womblers though, it's going to be a few months yet before it starts on the mainland.
It's only a game

Not sure if this is just NI or not but a full page in my local paper today says the following:
"You won't lose out on fresh foods. You won't lose out on big brands. And you won't lose out on own label.
when you buy at least eight different grocery products, we'll compare your basket against prices at Asda and Sainsbury's.
If your comparable shopping would have been cheaper there, we'll give you a voucher for the difference at the checkout."
ETA: This is for Tesco.
As it is now you have to be
A bright enough to use apg/pp
B bothered to do it
C have a working pinter/paper/ink etc
D go back to shop and repeat
and now every muggle and his gran will be handed it on a plate.
If I for instance went in a shop spent £14 and they gave me a voucher at till for £10 back, off to car unload and same shop again and so on. (Not forgetting to mention it on here of course)
Doesnt take any working out on their part now
Its hard enough finding stock now never mind when its open to the public:D
What are they thinking :rotfl:When The Fun Stops Stop0 -
