  • I thought perhaps before I retire for the evening I should quote from the bible (Roberts Burns- Epistle to a young friend)
    .
    This is one verse only - advice for us all.....for those who understand it:D

    Night all.

    "Aye free, aff-han', your story tell,
    When wi' a bosom crony;
    But still keep something to yoursel',
    Ye scarcely tell to ony:
    Conceal yoursel' as weel's ye can
    Frae critical dissection;
    But keek thro' ev'ry other man,
    Wi' sharpen'd, sly inspection. "
    never stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit
  • Thanks to you and to the OP LaaCaz for asking Tescos to confirm their rules on coupons. It would be so useful to have an 'official' print out of this from head office.

    Evening everyone :)

    Any one else still getting palpitations in T every time you spot a red bag of Lindt balls on a clipstrip? And quickly checking if they are round or oval? I KNOW it is new stoock, but my heart still skips when I spot them and they are EVERYWHERE dotted around the store :o

    Totally! :o

    SWEET if i have worked this out right. 80p each plus on 3 for 2.
    80p + 80p + 80p = 2.40 - 80p (Free one) = 1.60 - 40p coupon -40p coupon -40p coupon = 40p for 3 :D

    I tend to get palpitations in most supermarkets all the time now. Looking for maltesars. Hiding cheese to go back for later. Loitering in a corner sorting out my coupons. And the till... Oh goodness... Don't get me started:eek:

    Thanks David,
    Yes it's on my radar now and I'm in the middle of planning a shop.

    You might not believe me and it's a bit spooky but whenever I ask for a glitch on something particular , it always comes along.

    Me thinks. Magic powers......:)
    Can you put your magic powers to good use and get me a vodka/gin glitch please?:D

    I could do with some coffee, please feel free to mention it to the glitching gods :D

    baking glitch will be good for me as there are items I can use for low carbing. I also love coconut :)

    Going visiting a relative this morning.

    Interesting one as we always used to get on, then there were family differences between a close family member of hers and a close family member of mine, both thought it was stupid that we weren't all getting on, but couldn't seem to sort it all out. Now both the people concerned have passed on, so we are re-kindling our friendship and hope those that are looking down from above can smile and say they are pleased we are friends again. (Though there are people here on earth who say they can't believe we can do this.) We are different generations, so if we can link up there is hope that we can think link the families again.

    Had a very nice morning, easy chattering away, looking at new photos of family etc. All in all very pleasant. :)
