Hi sorry if this has been posted, but went into Tesco first thing looking for lynx, coming out without checking on the cheese - went back and the big empty hole was fillled up - twin 350g pack SEL of £5.55 (£1 off) - took one to the scanner and whoopie - £1.00. I would just check on scanner first in case of a store correction (as happened in my other local superstore).

Thank you izzeyB i saw your post and headed off to T's before work and even tho i have looked twice before without any luck.

    Look what i found :j:j:j:j:j

Glad my idea might be of use. Did I dream there is a currys voucher around again like before xmas last year? You buy something small to get a voucher not sure if I did read or didn't now.

Please make sure she is not discharged without any assesments being done first by either OT or Social worker. OH has seen it happen so many times, people discharged with no help in place and once out in the community things take so much longer. This will sound hard but she must refuse to go home until something is in place, they will soon get something organised once a doctor has said she is fit to go. ;)

Currys are doing £10 voucher if you buy anything from Xmas catalogue but the £10 has to be used in a £30+ transaction afterwards I think and only 1 moc per transaction

Yep, in every Tesco I have been to. I havent managed to get a single tin of beans or a single tin of reloaded from any Tesco shop, only Asda.

So annoying! I've been using them fine in my store in C*rd*ff for a few weeks and visiting my mum in B*urnem**th today they said a memo was sent to all stores today not to accept these coupons.

Do we reckon its a legit memo or my store making up their own rules?

The best thing I ever bought my mum was a Tefal One cup, with her illness she has not got the strength or balance to fill a kettle. This might be a good idea if your mum only has the use of one arm. I fill it every night for her ready for the next day. It says holds 6 cups but mum usually gets about 7 or 8 out as you can adjust the setting and she just pops her cup under and presses the button, boiling water in seconds. :)
Or a microwave can boil a cup in about 1 minute
I am not young enough to know everything.
