Now thats what I call a cake ,some nice things on there thanks.
The pink whisk is my fave baking website. I made Xmas cake fudge two weeks ago as a little trial for Xmas hampers - it'a sooo easy but takes almost an hour of standing over the cooker and stirring

How do you get the icing looking so smooth and perfect? I have tried countless times and it always looks so messy xxx

To get shiny icing, once it's in place on the cake, you need to use the palm of your hand to rub it, rub it, and rub it a bit more :rotfl: You will feel the smoothness almost straight away under your hand.. rub it in circular motions. a good trick to know ;)

Im delighted tbh as I its exactly what I was looking for ! I saw the SEL but the flasks were all over the place on the top shelf - im nearly 5ft1inc - so you can imagine the fun climbing that was invovled to get the last one at the very back of the top shelf !:o

No shame - no gain !

Lovely pic. I have always said that if i ever get a dog, his name will be Dave :D I have a toy stuffed sharpei called Dave until a real one comes along (and he sits on the back of the sofa). Yes, I'm 34 years of age with a toy dog.:rotfl:
Why would you want to call your dog Dave?? lol
My OH called our english springer spaniel Dave & I hate it .
I hate calling him when out on a walk, I find it so embarrasing :o.
Would you believe that the 1st time we walked him outside as a puppy, a man was shouting 'Dave, Dave' then a Labrador came running over to him, whats the chances of that. :rotfl:
