Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson go on a camping trip. After a good dinner and a bottle of wine, they retire for the night, and go to sleep. Some hours later, Holmes wakes up and nudges his faithful friend. “Watson, look up at the sky and tell me what you see.”
“I see millions and millions of stars, Holmes” replies Watson.
“And what do you deduce from that?”
Watson ponders for a minute. “Well,
Astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets.
Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo.
Horologically, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three.
Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow.
Theologically, I can see that God is all powerful, and that we are a small and insignificant part of the universe.
But what does it tell you, Watson?”
Watson is silent for a moment.
“Watson, you idiot!” says Holmes. “Someone has stolen our tent!”
So you are a secret Jedhead they told that one the other day on webcam0 -

It was a 10k run with many obstacles thrown in along the way. I actually ran for most of it but have to admit to walking now and then.
I wombled a receipt from Ts about the 4k mark but it turned to mush by the time I finished :rotfl:
My running buddy was mortified!If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly!0 -

Evening all,
Busy day here taking full advantage of the amazing weather!
2 cars washed waxed and sparkling inside and out, last spring bulbs planted, more onions, garlic, cabbages and sprouts planted, hedges trimmed. Impromtu visit to Freeport for Wellies fora field trip tomorrow for son who forgot to tell me he needed Wellies and his don't fit any more.....had to walk past M&S outlet and can't do that without going in.....big racks of per una goodies for 99p-£2.49, so two large carrier bags full for less than £20. Then I popped into GAP outlet to see if there was any cheap stuff. I got 3 pairs jeans, 5 hoodies, 5 t shirts and a pair of pumps for less than £50. So not a cheap pair f Wellies really:o
Then visiting time at the hospital. Busy day, but it was so nice I enjoyed it all.
Actually only logged on to say a big WELL DONE to AAU! I do think you are mad for doing that with no training, but I admire you:)0 -

We're just over here you know - wouldn't have though a product from here would be classed as international but at least you get to sample what crisps were meant to taste likeAnd are local asda has the same thing...but strangely tesco every now and again has Denny products which I was surprised at
I didn't realise Denny was a local productDenny are the only sausages we'll eat and we've tried pretty much everything else including the expensive M&S ones.
All this talk of Tayto made me stop off and buy some cheese & onion. I am holding you guys personally responsible for the fact my OH won't come near me  Must try them more often :rotfl:
I'm off to finish catching up and checking out why I never knew about the Tayto tour. I'm ashamed to be from here and not know thatNo one can make you feel inferior without your consent ~ Eleanor Roosevelt0 -
If only there were more people in the world like this.......
The following is from the RIP Karina Menzies facebook page regarding the hit and runs in Cardiff.
'Amidst all the carnage and the chaos that ripped through Cardiff Last Friday....one little story that restores your faith in human kindness. In the early evening, a group of students arrived at the Accident and Emergency department at the Heath Hospital.....they were weighed down with bags of food and drink. Having seen the events unfold on telly.......they had gone to the shops , and with their own money had bought enough food to feed a small army. They had figured that the people involved would be too busy to stop.....so they had brought something for them to eat. It was for the doctors, nurses, paramedics, family relatives, police, fire and rescue.......it was for everyone. A small act of spontaneous kindness by a group of students who "Just wanted to do something to help" . Having delivered the food , they hung around "In case you needed blood donations". It was a bad day in Cardiff last Friday.......but little things like this are so very important......They provide hope in the middle of all the despair......There are a great many good people out there......but it seems we only get to hear about the bad........which is why this simple story needs to be shared.'
this is such a heart warming story for such a terrible situation
we all need to help out where possible as there is almost always some worse off than you0
