    Morning everyone,

Having never used an online dating site but one of my friends has I would say, honesty is the best policy, my friend is quite athletic and was looking for a similar female, if first impressions count he said his first impressions of most of the dates he got was that they were liars, don't say you look like Cheryl Cole if you look like Ann Widdecombe. :rotfl:

As a newbie I hope it's ok for me to have an off topic moan!!!

My oh has 2 sons who stay every other weekend and we see 3 nights during the week. Additionally we take them to any appointments (lots because both have regular hospital appointments). It's prize giving at school in 2 weeks and they both asked me to go. Oh given a letter from their mum yesterday saying I'm not allowed to go. I've never met her because she doesn't feel ready. OH and she divorced 7 years ago. I'm gutted. I've been helping ds2 with practising his guitar for the event. I was looking forward to it. We've now got to explain why I can't go without saying the real reason so it looks like I'm the bad guy as usual. So annoyed.
I'm a grown up so I'll get over it. Just it's not fair.

    Rant over - thanks

Rather than being the bad guy, can't you explain to the kids about how it may be a bit awkward for their mother and that you will take them out for a special treat to make up for not going?

My brother is a taxi driver and he recently picked up 3 guys who were busy discussing their tactics on dating sites.
They were discussing the best method of dumping their victim after getting them into bed so they can move onto the next one. It seems the preferred way is to arrange a date then deliberately cancel last minute to go out with your mates. When the woman complains about this, guy says that it's all getting too heavy and viola, victim is in dumpsville.

I know they are not all like that, but take care out there!

    Is that a small violin I hear:D

Thanks for this. The in-laws shop at Morrisons all the time and I'm keen to save them as much as I can

Do you know is it just conditional spends or can you use APG/PPs/BMs?

It said it was just conditional spends. Sorry for the late reply. :)
