On the 1st September every year Taiji, Japan start their hunt for dolphins and whales ( cetaceans ). They choose the pretty ones for captive facilities and slaughter the rest for meat.

The meat is poisonous, it contains high amounts of Mercury and they feed this to their children:eek:

The pretty dolphins are kept in horrendous conditions until the trainers from around the world come to look at them.:(

If you have the stomach watch The Cove. Its a film all about this, but I warn you it is not nice.:A
oh thats terrible how can people be so cruel
i wouldnt have the stomach to watch it. x

Yes that's the exact one, thanks motherbear so it is less than a year old just. :)

After posting last night I promptly fell asleep after opening a bottle and having 2 glasses, its only about 5% as well. You can see why it takes me my time to get through it.

Thanks fyfi for the info too, it tasted fine. ;) Not sure what the rest is going to taste like this evening though after being opened last night. :o

This might be a stupid question, how do the sweets stick to the ball?

i use cocktail sticks cut in half for the sweets, the lollies just stick in with the sticks you just have to cut a little bit off the stick as once you have nearly completed it the sticks take all the room up inside the ball but if you cut a bit off then they fit. That is one of the reasons i have not done the malteser one as you have to melt either chocolate to stick it on and i am bothered they might fall off before you need them. I made one once with rainbow drops as they were my nieces favourite it took ages as you had to stick three on the end of a cocktail stick and then stick it into ball, looked effective but did take a long time, easiest is the lolly one.
