  • I'll probably get shot down for this, but given recent events on here, I don't think the clipstrip collection thing sets a good precedent... s0906.gif

I wish more people would post their shopping lists... Can I implore you all to do just that? Not only do we learn from them but i do like a good nose.

It really helps us newbies.. and remember, we were all newbies once.

For example.. my list tonight. If someone was after beer, they'd know now that they can get some good quality budwieser in Asda which compares with Tesco! The bud was 9.00 in Asda, and 7.50 in Tesco!

It is a good idea - best price was the best at putting up lists and I really miss them. The trouble with my shops is that once you have been getting bargains for awhile there is not that much we actually need so my lists usually only have milk, bread fruit and veg and sometimes the obligatory cheapy fillers. I loved your wise words regarding the £5 off £40 shop - as the apg is capped at £15 I would rather not spend too much to get a good return

I have some of the money off fruit and veg coupons( green leaflets in tescos at end of veg aisle) going into my recycling bin

I picked some up today to spread the love as we're self sufficient in veg:D:p

Oooh we haven't got any in the south of the region when I looked earlier in the week so they might have reached us - will have a look round over the weekend in the stores down here.

Well, all caught up, mainly due to the forum being closed last night lol!

3 Dogs, by the time I had read your sad post a couple of days ago you seemed to already be in a better place, so I left commenting until now. I was mainly a lurker when your husband posted but it came through in his posts what a wonderful man he was. His passing has left a huge gap in this virtual family, so I cannot begin to imagine how much of a gap must be in yours. I'm so naff with words, what I want to say it is so understandable that you have black days, but hopefully you can come on here as well as to your real life friends (who all sound fantastic by the way), and get the hugs you need xx

what a totally wonderful post - absolutely agree ........
3dogs I don't post much but like so many you are in my thoughts and mr 3dogs will never be forgotten and the love you showered upon him before and since he died is an inspiration to so many ......
