Don't like burnt chips :eek: but I do like raw mushrooms in salads. You seem to have a theme going on the charcoal front.

Evening All

Has anyone had an issue with 1p stuff on the SS. I know the only recent thing is the KP Nuts but this is what happened earlier

Found the Nuts, picked a few up as ya do, went to SS, they scanned fine at 1p, put my money in and the SS froze and just said processing on the screen. Red light flashed after a few mins SA saw the 1p stuff so i got trouted..win some loose some..

Anyway came home via a different store, found more Nuts but the same thing happened and SS locked up. Luckily SA didnt notice this time and said not to worry if i didnt want the receipt.. phew. Went back to the car, left it 10 mins and went back to try again this time i added a 10p Momam bar into the shop, everything scanned ok and paid with no problems.

As it was 2 stores this happend in, im thinking you cant get away with 1p items without getting something else anymore. Its been a while since i did a 1p shop but dont recall this mentioned before.. Maybe Ts is getting wise..

according to our Mr T - they haven't had any in since the day the staff had them all at 7.05am :mad:
I asked CS if I could have a 'rain check' voucher.
I know the SA & she knew nothing about the £1 cheese. So she asked me to show her - off we trolley & I point to the empty space with the yellow SEL of £1. :eek::eek: she was shocked & wanted some
Off she went to stockroom but didn't find any - but she said she is there tomorrow at 7am & when delivery comes she will save me & herself some :D :T:T

Hello my lovelies.
Just a quick one to let you know that in sains local near me the gillette venus breeze razors have been heavily reduced (as well as the cartridges)
The razor and 2 cartridges was £10 something to start with and was reduced to 10p.
the 4 cartridges were also over £10 and also reduced to 10p.
The ones in my store were behind the counter. In my store all the staff had first grabs as what they wanted but may be worth checking main sains supermarkets to see if they have the same offer there as they probably have more stock than the smaller stores. Although sometimes the offers are different.

The funny thing is I do not unintentionally burn anything normally, I think charcoal is meant to be good for you in small quantities though - I hope!!
