Yay, the hornet household has cheese! I've exhausted every T round here looking for it without success, but there was loads in A. Just got to wait until 6.10 now for APG. I'm now also officially a shelf clearer. There were 2 s&g left and I took both.
Hope everyone is looking forward to a lovely weekend0 -

thank you for the reminderI spend most episodes hiding behind my duvet, OH thinks I'm such a wuss but its  !
we are really behind on most current tv shows. Have never watched homeland but we have recently discovered Heroes on netflix (don't tell me what happens!)
hopefully now the kids are a bit older and sleeping better we will get to watch all these fab shows
I have yet to read back and catch up, hope I've not missed anything exciting? I'm mostly just happy to find everyone here - where did this place go last night? And more importantly where am I supposed to go when this place breaks?! Felt quite lost last night :rotfl:0 -
I know I've been given slow cooker advice in the past but I now have a more specific query if someone can indulge me. I have finally perfected spag bol but I'm not sure how the recipe would translate to a slow cooker. The recipe is -
Add carrots, celery, onions & garlic and cook on a low heat so they don't colour
Once the veg has softened, add the meat, cook until sealed and strain off any fat
Add a spoonful of tomato puree and mix well
Add water & stock pot and cook down until the liquid has evaporated
Add pasatta & herbs and once boiling, let it simmer for an hour or so.
Can this be achieved in a slow cooker? Thanks. No one can make you feel inferior without your consent ~ Eleanor Roosevelt0 -

I can just about manage Walking Dead but OH loves blood & gore like Spartacus (I found it a bit to OTT and refuse to watch it) and horror stuff like American Horror Story. I got freaked out when I saw the gimp suit so didn't watch any more but I keep seeing ads for the new season. If it scary to watch or should I try again with season 2?No one can make you feel inferior without your consent ~ Eleanor Roosevelt0 -
