Good Morning :money: :money: I have done a bit work today. Cleared out ome of kitchen wall cupboards, moving around the dog food, medicines, cups/mugs, mixer, etc, so that the cupboards are tidier, and now have a load of mugs to put away to take up North next time as they are always after cups for visitors to use at the home Mam is in. Sorted out more bags of stash too, putting all the linx, dove and simple into a plastic underbed box. Put my reloaded together in one shopping bag, and stored a few more bits on my stash shelving. Getting more organised, though there is still a long way to go yetmutley_muppet wrote: »Oh hun, it must be hard work for you especially when its raining & cold out as you don't want the back door open all day. The dogs have obviously just had to go where they were in the kennels and it's sounds like your old girl is struggling to adjust back?
If you can, I would go right back to what you would do with a pup, so every time the dogs do their business in the garden praise them like mad, really go over the top like you would with a pup. Maybe even give them a special treat? With a bit of positive reinforcement fingers crossed they will all get back into the habit of going outside again.
Also I would encourage them to go out the back after every meal, and whenever they wake up from their sleep, just as you would a pup.
Are your dogs big or little hun? Just wondered if you could get a dog flap fitted in your back door if they are little un's? My two are too big lol, but my friend has one for her little beagle and he can come & go into the garden whenever he likes.
Is there anyone near you that does pet sitting? Just thinking that might be a compromise when you are away, so your dogs are in a home environment rather than kennels?
I have used the humane box traps in the past to catch mice with good success. I used to live in a rented house that was next door to a derelict house that was squatted.:( I was told to bait the traps with chocolate rather than cheese as apparently mice have a sweet tooth. Plus its best to keep all your food in plastic containers/tins or else the food will still attract more mice. I took my captured mice to local woods and we did eventually get on top of the problem. Good luck. x
I sometimes feel a bit down when I've been away then come home. You have obviously been in good company, then coming home to have to face stuff around the house, always a toughy!
Take your time and try to do a little bit a day. When I am struggling, I make a list of things to do and even if you tick off one thing at least you will see some progress and it hopefully won't seem so overwhelming?
Big hugs,
MM x
They are just little dogs MM, a rough coated Jack Russell and a Cairn cross Yorkie. They have been good today, but older dog did have one wee in hall even though back door was open
I never use cheese in the mouse traps. It's normally peanut butter, chocolate, cereal bar, cake, or something like that. I put the 2 new mouse traps down this evening using peanut butter as bait and caught a mouse in the kitchen about 2 hours later :j Instead of the simple wooden base, lightweight traps, I got more sturdy plastic traps which are much easier to set and obviously work wellI have reset that trap, and I have one in the stash cupboard too, so will see if there are any more about
3 Dogs and anyone else with mouse probs - can you phone your local council, I know that I had environmental health come and checkout my last house that we moved outta as it was new build and the mice came the first autumn, im petrified of mice and the guy showed me all the access points, boiler pipe, bathroom pipes, front doorstep etc... And told me to scrub all around the points once they are filled with milton, to try and scrub away the mouse pee as they urinate at access points to lead others to the way in! Even if you kill them other mice with scent there smell and try to get in ! HTH
Best wishes getting rid they are the most horrible wee beggars, they were in my handbag even yuck !
Yuk   That is good advice about the council Daisy Duck. It would certainly help to find out where they are coming in. It is a Housing Association bungalow, so will check with the council and the HA for advice :T :TMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Good Morning
Soon caught up seeing msn went off last night0 -
This is from a womble I got earlier - I got 1.01 APG and 5.00 off my next 40.00 shop. I've got loads of these. Every time I go to A's I pick up about 10 receipts from trollies. The 5.00 off a 40.00 shop are piling up. Shame the date is not longer on them. I'm only really using the ones with extra cash on top as i'm getting inundated. I'm also getting a few 2.00 and 3.00 APGs back on wombles.. so its reallly worth a womble...

Hi I have a double points coupon, do you think it would work on this amount?0 -
i got some yesterday...these are the results A v M....
1 x Muller Fruit Corner Red Cherry (150g)£0.60 £0.60
1 x Muller Fruit Corner Blueberry Yogurt (150g)£0.60 N/A
2 x Muller Fruit Corner Strawberry (150g)£1.20 £0.93
2 x Muller Fruit Corner Blackberry & Raspberry (150g)£1.20£0.67
think the red cherry went to full price as the blueberry was n/a.... this wasnt a planned M shop..it was S...but thought I'd post the results so you can see that Red Cherry, Strawberry and Blackberry & Raspberry all compare to M
I'm thinking if you get through a lot of these, then buy a mixture of a total of 30...no more than 10 of any flavour..
vanilla choc balls, strawberry, red cherry, blackberry & raspberry....
this should cost you £12 (10 for £4...3 x £4 = £12)....apg should see 30 x 60p = £18..... compared to Ms offer of 3 for £1 (10)..... so £18 - £10 - 10%.... £9 apg from a £12 spend
Hi has this worked for anyone yet please. ie buying the 10 of each.0 -
