I have been reading your posts about your chemo and have been meaning to say how brilliantly you've been doing:T:TI think Auntielala may be doing the radiotherapy after the chemo too.I'm sure in the New Year you'll be feeling so much better and running around like a spring chicken in A's & T's;) Sending you big hugs xxxxx
Thanks nikkilala - looking forward to the hair growing back - its cold under the buff at the moment!
Kids have been good about it but I freaked them out yesterday - we are going to kids Halloween party on 26th (3rd year we have done this) but dress code is fancy dress for kids and adults - I mentioned that perhaps it would be easier if I went as Uncle Fester cos I'm half way there already - resounding no from the kids for that one.So will try and find Morticia wig instead - they had been less then compliant that day so I did find this a tad amusing - but have decided that as there are 29 kids going I'd best not freak them all out. Lovely organisers have given all parents job and food - and have given me the easy task of judging the fancy dress and providing the crisps(I nned a crisp glitch/deal - please if there is a crisp glitch can someone pm me as if there a lot of pages I may not be able to trawl them all next week).
DD stropping at moment - before diagnosis I had booked Travelodge rooms for family break half term - 2 days Liverpool (went for 2 days at Easter - so much to do we are going back)and 3 days Bath (where I've always wanted to visit). But this means we are away for Halloween trick or treating - 8 year old having trouble with concept of not doing it - "we can still do it" "well its in the city and it will be all businesses and they will be closed", she thinks about it "well lets drive to the outskirts then" - she is haaving trouble adjusting to the there wil be no free sweets from Trick or treating this year - bless...... I wouldn't mind but she doesn't like most of them cos they are too sweet!:rotfl:
