    Morning :D
I'm back at home after my visits to gran. Wondering whether to pop to A later for an APG on the cheese (seeing as everyone else will be at T!)

Hugs to you 3 dogs, I've just read your post and really feel for you :A

I got APGs on all of the cheese that I bought yesterday :o. I think that the OP who didn't may have picked up the wrong pack as there are two types. One is 2 x mature and the other is 1 x mature and 1 x extra mature. It is the first one that is comparing. SA in t's view was she thought that they were selling it off as they would only be stocking the mixed pack in the future. Use by dates on mine were 14 Jan 2013.

Thanks Laura Cello - then just radiotherapy and hormone therapy. Might get out to do some real shopping and have the stamina to get all round stores to spot a glitch sometime in the new year - will post what I can in meantime tho. Nice to feel the love on the thread now one or two distractions are gone.......;)

Reading about dead mice, well how about this. When we moved house, we found a dessicated mouse under our bookcase! God knows how long it was there for, but we honestly didn't smell anything!

I once lived in a shared house with a load of slobs who never did any housework. Someone had filled the sink with water in the pathetic attempt at washing up and promptly left it like that all day. I found the sink still filled when I got in that night and decided I would just get on with it. I squeezed what I thought was the scouring pad only to discover it was infact a dead mouse that had drowned in the water.
    I screamed (a lot )
The landlord of the pub downstairs (we lived over a pub :D ) came legging it up to find me hysterical and unable to talk. It was revolting and I moved out a week later. Everyone in the pub thought it was hilarious when the landlord told them though - :rotfl:

My daughter was recently in France and she met the creators of the puppets in Labyrinth and their son Toby was the baby in the film.
    They also created Yoda.

  • Had a Very quick catch up as got loads of work today but didn't want to cut and run after reading certain peeps posts.

The very heart of this thread has been put under severe strain over the last few weeks - loads of glitches happening at a rate of knots things got messy when certain people got silly and or greedy. Enough said about that.

What really matters is the ethos of this thread is still intact - and I hope nobody ever ever destroys that no matter how hard they try.

You have only to read the posts by 3Dogs, Fudge2, Saversue, Spiraling Down, Vanilla Twist and several others that come to mind to see what is truly imprtant. I have been in tears reading the posts of these people as I can so associate with many of them. Let us not forget that many many people are battling evry single day of their lives to live, survive and manage their particular struggles in life. Life can be so damnably difficult at times but we should be as grateful as we can for what we have - as somebody said - Cheese? Good, but its not what is truly important.

Imagine being in the shoes of the family that Fudge2 wrote about with the young Mum who has two children and has terminal cancer. Would anybody want to be in their position? My heart goes out to them - as it does to all the other peeps struggling.

I truly hope that today is a better day for everyone struggling - ((hugs)) to you all.

If this post contributes towards helping the thread return to its former glory it will make my rant worthwhile.
  • Well i've had a think about my top 5 films, so in particular order
