Morning everyone
Feel a sense of new beginnings, continued friendships, hopefully lots of new ones heading in along the way, as Truly Madly posted yesterday (thank you for those fab posts)
Caz, good to see you posting and hope you will pop out of lurkdom on a regular basis.
And to those who want to diss the thread or MSE, be you new, old, regular, irregular (), Elite or just plain everyday - please think twice about posting on here. Thread is, as always, what we collectively make it and it isn't just the trolls who can bring it down.
3Dogs, was very moved by your posts. I understand how hamstrung one can get by the desire, almost need, to declutter but an overwhelmig fear of throwing stuff out. It can immobilise. I doin't know if you can afford it, but maybe think about renting a lock-up garage if there is one local, or a self storage unit? Put everything into boxes and crates and move it into storage, and then slowly, over time, bring a box back at a time to sort through and decide what needs to go. Clearing the decks at home without having to be ruthless too much and too soon may break the dip and give the lift you need to take the next small step, and then the next one ..... Thoughts are with you xx0 -
Been into my two local superstores this morning - both had cheese - and in both stores this scanned at £6.55
I suppose it could be a store-specific correction but I doubt it.

Hi Laura C. I think there is a quick visual way of spotting the boys socks. The new range are "feel fresh" and this is clearly worded on the cardboard wrapper around the socks. The end of range packs just say boys sports socks. Narrows down the number of packs to check barcodes. Not sure if this applies to the mens ones though.0 -
Good morning everyone - sneaking a catch up before the kids wake up!
My 2 lego Stigs arrived yesterday - mega quick for a 'freebie' mag link (except for the postage) - they look great and have hidden them til I can get in the attic and put in the seasonal hoisery bag - ho ho ho. Hope some of you managed to get them...
No cheese at Seacroft Tesco yesterday (lots of mixed bags so beware).
Hugs to all that need them.
Aau1 - good to see you back on posting. Hope you are settling in with the in laws. Hope you get a decision on the house soon - or see another one you like more!
3 Dogs - thinking of you - keep strong and don't be too hard on yourself. It might be worth having a word with your vet re the older dog - they might be able to advise. If its stress related they have pick me ups - could she have a bladder infection which is making it harder she doesn't know she needs to go until its too late?
Re the mouse - my 2 cats (new last year) unfortunately bring gifts from the field over the road but excelled themselves yesterday (or whenever it was). Very funny smell coming from coat cupboard under the stars - which has smaller bit at back that goes around in L shape - which is where I havve stored the cereal I managed to get). Tricky for me to get to - so sent OH in when he got home from work. Thought it would take a while to empty everything out an dlocate gift. After 5 minutes he reappeared with dead mouse found in DS winter coat pocket (which he hasn't worn yet this year) Cats must have brought it in and it found somewhere to hide and expire OMG! Anyhow hope that little tale cheered you up.
Well will be quite for a few days from me, off to hospital for my last chemo (hopefully):j - glad its finishing but finding it harder to go for these later sessions. Hope Aunty LaLa bearing up.0 -
