I doubt we're on eachothers Xmas card lists but staying away means 'they' have won. The whole point seems to be to put people off posting their boring mundane day to day waffle which is the foundation of this thread and the reason so many complete strangers work as one when a potential glitch has been found. We don't find it boring or mundane but those who would rather a HUKD ideal of lists of bargains that can be sifted at leisure have proven that general bedlam works wonders at pushing the regs away and getting control of a thread which was never theirs to begin with.

This may be a public forum and the (tongue-in-cheek) elite don't own this thread but this thread served a purpose more than just for the posting of bargains. It's not our fault if most of the good glitches get found here (see above where we work as a team). As the opening statement on this thread says (I should know as I wrote it)

No, not all of what we say is Tesco related or even of interest to many others but this is the way this thread has formed.

Many of us want to discuss the various deals to be had but this was not appreciated on the main Grabbit forum. As such, we now use this thread to talk about anything from how to cook a baked potato to how to get 1p or 4p items through self-scan as quickly as possible. We also discuss ex-husbands and wives, kids and animals. If you have a medical problem we'll nag you until you go to the Doctor. If you're not feeling well we'll provide support, a wee hot drink and whatever chocolate is currently glitching to cheer you up.

So what would that mean if you and others stop posting stuff you've posted in relative peace for 18 months give or take? Yes, bargains would be laid out on a plate, so as long as the 'drivel' continues, the regulars have their home back and those that would rather just deal in the black & white of glitches lose. I hope you & others reconsider FK.

And with that I shall slink back into temporary lurkdom. Those that know me will understand why.
