Having spent the last couple of days working with patients with various forms and stages of cancer, my perspective on life is changing somewhat. One person is just a few months younger than me. Her cancer is terminal. She has 2 young children.

Life is too short for greed and arguments.

You never know what is around the corner.

A lot of what I have read on here in the last couple of days is moaning and sniping about what people post and where they post it. Seriously, there is so much more to life than that.

    Enjoy life while you can.

    words of wisdom :A:A:A:A

    well that's it
i had a few personal comments made about me that drove me into lurkdom a while ago, i got over and came back and it's started again:(
I agree there are trolls around but there are regulars who can be just as mean and judgemental
I would urge all of you to take care what you post as we are all human at the end of the day, some more vulnerable than others. An innocent virtual comment may be taken very personally.
HUKD seem like a pretty friendly place in comparison right now:(

Before certain people start saying she's posting for drama and sympathy NO WAY! i just want to point out there is some crap going on and not just from the newbies, AE's and trolls. If your face fits and all that......

  • Can you please explain what the deal is with the wine, quite fancy a wine and cheese party at new year :T
    Thanks

Well, you buy the wine in Asda for 6.00 and because its in Tescos for 4.00 , you get an asda price promise voucher. If you follow my list, there, you will be guaranteed to get a 1500 voucher back and 5.00 on top coz I went over 40.00. But you have to spend the 5.00 voucher on another 40 pound shop.

Just make sure you have over 8 items.

I think we are finally out of juice, Dom jolly and welsh stockpile all gone and we can't go back to value juice as our taste buds have been ruined.

Any suggestions for juice that will give a APG or even a TPP but not cost much more than value juice?

Wasn't it lovely on the thread last Wednesday when we were in the middle of the glitch .....

Is it like a facet joint block injection ?

Yes kind of except they are targeting the nerves and not the actual joint. Even so my last experience was not good.

6 wines will give you a £12 APG so what did you add to get your APG up to £15 ?

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

    4. Put some E45 cream on your itch? :rotfl:

Has E45 finished? I tried it at lunchtime and only one discount came off so I cancelled the transaction. It was the tube of Itchy E45 I tried (didn't have time to try any others).

That's what I bought yesterday and it worked so must be fixed
