I feel exactly the same, I notice one of mine has gone, and I class myself as anything but controversial! Think Im off too for the time being, confirmation to me that theres obviously no point in posting gliches or opinions around here.

Thank you to all those kind people who replied to my posts last night, you were all super and very supportive. Quick update, apparently a doctor went to my mum last night and said 'you have been here long enough it is time for you to go home' My mum said she didnt feel ready and was worried that she would not be able to manage yet. His reply was to hold his palms in the air, shrug his shoulders and said 'not my problem' and walked off! I asked on the ward today and it was 'no comment' from them all!
I have the trump card.......................I have her key, so they HAVE to speak to me at some point about her discharge, unless they are going to post her home:)
I know it's been a trying day and you've got so much more going on in your life than all this nonsense. But I wonder if you will sleep on this and think about coming back tomorrow. Please:)To do is to be. Rousseau

Just got back from T's.
No cheese as the SEL was £1 but they did offer me a price promise for 4 packs.
The SA told me it's on offer at that price until the 22nd...so hopefully they will keep restocking the shelves
I'd like to apologise for my earlier post where I said the thread was full of crooks trolls and loonies.
I didn't for one minute mean the vast majority of the lovely people on here, and I'm sorry to those who thought I did.
I'm taking myself off to bed now as I've a hospital appt in the morning.
Night all
Night Purdy..hope all goes well tomorrow and GREAT news about the cheese too..I may finally find some :rotfl:If it's full price I don't buy it..if its 50% off I will consider it..if it's whoopsied and I have a coupon its in the trolly!

Well, I think I prefer Becks, but its a close thing between them!
You'd have never imagined he looked like that under that spacesuit, would you!!!
Well on the off chance that he may be reading this, Felix if you are ever in need of an "undersuit checker" I'm the best girl for the job! It's the thought that counts.......I think a lot!0 -

I think waitrose and sains are over charging and ripping people off considering t is doing them for £4 and A for £6 or it just isn't worth such a high price madness the differences depending if the store is more upmarket
I know. Its absolutely ridiculous.. but that's the way it is with a lot of things. I can confirm though... that its a really tasty wine. If someone gave me a glass of this and said it was Champagne.. I would not blink. It really is lovely. Its worth getting for your 15.00 apg and a 5.00 off your next shop. I'm going to get loads for us, and give them out as christmas presents as well.0 -

I am having trouble with Tosco.
When I placed my online order it did confirm I would get 1000 bonus points. These were not added to on receipt so I emailed them. They now want to know where I got the code from.
Does anyone know where code originated from please?
If no one knows I will email back tomorrow and give the answer
hukd and vouchercodes and see what they do but would really like the points for mum as was her first online order and have already had to fight for the £10 off when she has genuinely never had shopping delivered before and they overcharged on one item!
Would be really grateful for some help with this one.
Thanks

Hi
I don't know which code you used, but assume it ws the MSE sponsored Topcashback code in last weeks newsletter? Did you click thru topcashback?0 -

Life is too short for greed and arguments.
You never know what is around the corner.
A lot of what I have read on here in the last couple of days is moaning and sniping about what people post and where they post it. Seriously, there is so much more to life than that.
Enjoy life while you can.
Well said.
When I tell people I am taking my family on a Sun holiday, I can feel them look down their noses at me. If I saved and saved we could go abroad but why bother, we as a family had such a laugh at adventure golf earlier. My 2yr olds face when she sees rory the tiger is magic and I am spending time with my girls that I'll never get back. So although I am now alone drinking my wine I am grateful for what I have and intend to enjoy it.
I have only caught snippets of the way the thread has been going. I don't post often enough to be really recognized, regular, whatever and often feel ignored, but still I post as I like to join in and say thanks properly.
I too have asked to be included in the FB page and it has not happened, but I won't lose sleep over it and see no point in moaning about it..this is not a moan.
Oh dear drink does make people go on a bit, don't it?0 -
to be fair though, there was an argument about this being a family forum a day or two ago? when the boxer pics were posted i know it sounds sad but it is not the sort of pics I would like my 10year old DD to see so i 'm afraid i didn't find them acceptable
I AM Mary Whitehouse, if anyone remembers her but i thought the 4p pants were tastefully done, sadly in todays day & age maybe not in your house but with outside influences school etc, she has seen much worse cant believe what the soaps get away with at teatime etc, music videos little girls magazine's I'm not condoning it but the fact is its all out there sadly0 -

Its really good that the Rose Chardonnay works. These are 9.99 in Waitrose and Sainsb. Will be going back for more tomorrow.
Got a #15.00 capped APG and a 5.00 off 40 spend on my next shop.
One of the s&G didn't work coz I picked up the wrong sized bottle.. hth
Have to admit, I was worried about the rose as it was saying out of stock on My supermarket.. but thought i'd risk it for a biscuit anyway. So if its showing on your mysupermarket as out of stock, and you really want it, then i'd go for one bottle first to test.0 -
Evening. Is anybody watching Extreme Couponing on Dis Real Time +1, $840+ shop down to $4 you just have to love the Americans. Wouldnt it be great if we had that situation going on here. Now that would be something to get our teeth into
