Have been waiting all day for my fella to be paid so I could pay the rent & council tax online and then go shopping. They have just paid him and haven't paid him for the 2 weeks he was off because he was hit by a car on the way to work; he commutes on a bicycle. We don't even have enough to cover the rent!!
Amonto keyboard, head spinning, am about to email our landlady...
If the accident was the car drivers fault and your OH doesn't get paid for time off due to the accident, is he able to claim for loss of earnings from the car drivers insurance?0 -

Lol, I rang my friend to tell her I used the coupons and she started going on about fillers. Had no idea what she was talking about but she has filled me in now so will give it another try soon!
Didn't think you could get better than free!!! Must admit though they are not something I would normally buy so hope they taste ok?0 -

just wanted to say thou as some people are funny about benifits (normaly the ones who have never been without)
some people will always judge others so dont worry about it they are not worth bothering with
when i first joined this site when i mentioned my horses someone said that this site was not for the likes of me.... they just thought we live in the country and have lots of money, in truth we dont drink / smoke / go out for meals and have never been on holiday we scrimp and save to have our horses and country life for our kids.so this site is important to me.
we should never judge others as we do not know the full story..0 -
Firstly he needs to check if he is entitled to sick pay, it might be an oversight by his company. If it is it might take a week or so to sort out.
In the meantime I would ring the county council and ask if you can miss this month and divide what is left by however many months are left in this tax year - is it 5?
Then email your landlady - see what she suggests.
The main thing is to be pro- active at this stage and dont go into a blind panic.princessmelody2009 wrote: »*Rant Alert*

Maybe a little late for you but this compared for me yesterday. As they're £3.60 each in Ts and A's and also 2 for £6 in As, i'd say the answer to your question is yes.

Afternoon all. Thanks for the info re multibuys. Just home from work and thought i would try and catch up before shopping.
I have sent OH with a list to try today. Who knows what he will end up getting!
I wanted to get some coke zero on a TvA (£1.98 v £1) but its on a multibuy of 2 for £3.50! so im thinking dont get 2 in one shop?
The APG bonus, you have to spend £40 to get it and is it then £5 off your next £40 shop? I was thinking of stocking up on xmas sweets and school shoes but dont know if I can justify two £40 shops0
