Went to sada this morning tried to use beans and reloaded coupons however they said sorry we can't take them because they are photocopies I reassured them that they were not! Then they said they could only take one of the beans because they have the same barcode- I explained PDF but that went over there head, I asked if we could take this to the customer services as the lady behind in the que needed to sit down as they were taking soo long umming and ahhing poor lady.

So off we went to CS where they said oh we can take all the reloaded but only one beans, I was like I'd like you to check with someone senior now lol the duty manager then decided that i could only use one of each per transaction they would take my name and refund me the money if they were wrong ummm no I'm only buying them because I have vouchers for them -

I was like so ur telling me if I put these through separately then that's ok, so I said ok I'll put them through the self service 1 by 1 they said well the SA will havta authorise each one - not my problem i thought so off I went to scan all bits one by and 2 items per transaction 2 coupons and nil to pay I was quite annoyed so didn't bother to buy the other bits so walked out with reloaded and beans nil else lol

I wish all the supermarkets all sung of the same sheet with regards to coupons :D
Its not asda its the store get on to cs at leeds tell them and they will apologise and let the store know where they are going wrong .
Oh and if you dont answer the phone and it goes to answer machine you can now record that onto your mobile if you are that way inclined to play to them if it ever happens again ;)

    OMG

Have been waiting all day for my fella to be paid so I could pay the rent & council tax online and then go shopping. They have just paid him and haven't paid him for the 2 weeks he was off because he was hit by a car on the way to work; he commutes on a bicycle. We don't even have enough to cover the rent!!

Am  onto keyboard, head spinning, am about to email our landlady...

    :(

    Oh no :(

Just a thought, anyone can apply for a crisis loan and it can be for when you do not have enough to meet your needs. They do not cover rent though. I am thinking that you may be able to get a loan for food and travel to work?

I'd write to the council about the council tax and offer miss this one and pay on top each time the amount owed divided by 12 over the next year?

I hope the rest of the day picks up :(:)

Good afternoon all  Hope everyone is well :)
Is anyone considering switching energy suppliers? Listening to Martin on This Morning I thought I would have a look. U switch came out cheaper with an option with a fix rate until 2014 but reviews are poor. I'm currently with eon. I'm hoping to find a good deal and use Quidco for some cashback.

I've just switched mine today after seeing ML on This Morning.
I got a £232 per year saving on a fixed rate till 4th March 2014 by moving both gas and electric to firstutility :money: :j

ETA: I went through energyhelpline and should get £15 cashback as well :)

    No :(

I am also thinking that if his work does not sort SSP or similar that you should pop to CAB for advice or the suitable board on this forum. It doesn't sit right with me that he is entitled to nothing :(

Oh no :( that was not my intention - hopefully happier tears then :) I dont post much on here as I dont really have time to keep up with you all but when I get on I always try to check the cove and think its wonderful how you keep us all informed and how passionate you and others in here are about it so when I saw you were sad I thought you needed and deserved a pick-me-up comment :D x x x

Its ok, honest:D I think it might be because my 40th is in less than 2 weeks:eek: and my parents are not speaking to me AGAIN for whatever reason (I have no idea) They have missed every important birthday I have had.
