Thanks mhocs, will try that then.

I've just totally depressed myself having a quick sqy at the Daily Mail to see what's happening. They have an article about these two people who've brought deadly diseases back from Qatar and Afghanistan and died recently and about how we'll all be dead within five years of something similar. I'm actually teary which is strange because I would not have cared until I had babies :(

Still have loads left as well:o

My Sunday was lovely, thank you fourp. I am lucky that my GC like coming to see me :j:j

DD1 had a business trip to India yesterday for a few days but when she got to Heathrow she found out that they had overbooked her seat. She had to turn round and go back home.:mad::mad:

Hope that you had a good one too.

A super Sunday here thanks MKS , what a shame about your DD1's curtailed trip (with someluck she might have squeezed in some sightseeing amongst the business .

Which city was she going to .?

I've been fortunate enough to visit that vast country twice but must admit i was amazed at a BBC programme the other night that showed Indians and how they do (family) business etc ,the amount of crime gangs that controlled certain parts on many cities seemed to take most of the rupees from had working folk .

Yes I tried doing a search yesterday but came up with nothing. I am wondering if it has to be a receipt dated from today or can I put one in from a few days ago. I've got a receipt for £60 odd which won't produce an APG but I am wondering if it will at least produce a £5 voucher.

This is interesting, pity my asda is such a small one and people only tend to buy a basket of things, so not many reciepts for £40!

So I wonder, if a receipt is over £40, it might give a £5 voucher, but I imagine that would be a conditional spend? maybe on next shopping for £40+?

With my shopping tart ways I rarely spend £40 in one shopping trip, might do on Christmas week, but thats about it (and we are a family of 5!)

I have £1 off MOCS for the four pack lagers, so four for £1 which is great. With the shandy I have £1 off coupons too, making them £1.50 for four. But they are only £1.50 per pack in Asda so I;m hoping to get another pound back through PP for each pack, In total making the shandies 50p for 6.

Unless I;m way off the mark...:o

The Discovery Mexican Plain Tortillas (8) are 50p in Asda and £1.59 in Tesco, worth getting if you use them.

Yes my Dad set up something in his will when my mum died but the law changed inbetween.

So after he decided to live permentley in the home at the end of last year I went to his solicitor - they give you the 1st half hour free and I discussed everything with her.

What I have now is called "General power of attorney under the Power of Attorney act 1971" which is basically just a letter with my Dads and my details on (my sisters are stand in incase I get run over by a bus) Its signed by my Dad and witnessed.

The bank, building society, utilities, estate agent etc have all had copies of this letter so I can act for my Dad.

In total it cost £185 but the solicitor said it was by far the easiest solution and far cheaper than if we left it until my Dad was no longer capable when it would need to go to court

Just wanted to add that the "General power of attorney" is revoked if the person loses mental capacity. And then the way forward is the court of protection. You need a "Lasting power of attorney" to be set up before the person loses capacity. HTHs

    This is a useful website.
