i reported his picture for the clown as i am petrified of clowns, think thats what hes getting at. Its okay though i put him on ignore as soon as i saw it.
So pathetic somebody has a phobia of something and people do rubbish like that.
My friend has a phobia of clowns and balloons, about a year ago we went to the west end to see a show before the show we were in a bar and the door opened nd in walked about 30 - 40 clowns who, after about 10 mins all started blowing up balloons, my friend was absolutely terrified and her face was a picture and seeing as she is my best friend all I could do was laugh hysterically, mind you I didn't think it was so funny when we missed the show because she refused to leave the bar as it meant having to walk past themIt's the thought that counts.......I think a lot!0 -

Jerry, the 'ignore' function is really only for blocking people that you dislike/do not want to see any of their posts. There is absolutely no reason to 'ignore' anyone unless you are particularly against them / offended by them /dislike their opinions and don't want to hear what they have to say. It just seems peculiar that you say that you want to 'build up a list'! Most of us have no reason to use the 'ignore' button. We just read and move on if we're not interested in what someone has to say. Every now and again however, someone pops up whos posts you dislike/ are offended by, in which case 'ignore' can be fabulous.. irritation relieved!0 -

Morning ( notice the lack of the word good)
Just been woken by all the phones in the house beeping and the house alarm going off due to a power cut, after sorting out the racket and crawling back to bed, not before stubbing same toe twice, could still here a weird noise so got back up, stubbed toe again, and looked out the window to see 4 fire engines 2 ambulances and 1 hell of a fireIt's the thought that counts.......I think a lot!0 -
Was woken at 3.50 and it's still ablaze, had to bring the dog for a walk, not that I'm nosy, and can confirm that of about 30 fireman all in uniform, not 1 is a match for felix! It's the thought that counts.......I think a lot!0

just realised that I should perhaps post this on here as well as the Mr Shoes thread as it might help someone here
i thought you could only use your advantage card points to pay for a purchase in full...i.e. no other payment method involved like cash, mocs etc...
well last night I tried a purchase on mr shoes.com and input a £5 wys £40 on perfume code...it then gave me the option to pay the balance using points
so today I tried it instore...I had a £5 wys £20 moc...asked the SA but she said it wouldnt work...I explained it worked online and asked her if she would at least try it...she did, and it worked... £23 balance, £5 off...1800 points to payand the stuff i bought was on 3for2 so an even better deal :rotfl:
This is great news - hasn't always been the case! So frustrating when you have loads of points but cannot get the 'deal' re minimum spend without using cash. Have had loads of points for 2 years but unable to get to the sales at bigger boots and only small boots near me with no points machine. Having recently lost my job this wil really help max a shop at Boots and getting Xmas presents. Technically this looks like it should also apply at christmas shopping events but I know it hasn't in the past. What do you reckon .. or it could be an unfixed glitch on system ...... get coats on girls!0
